    old scopes

IS there a collectors market for old scopes that are from the 80's and 90's?

I am not personally up on this. However I would suspect that there are collectors for the older European stuff, older Redfields,Unertil's,and etc. Sniper type scopes, especially with specialized reticals also.

Older Weaver steel tube scopes are sought after as well.

I shot many rounds from a Ruger #1V that was topped by a 20X Unertil. Many a Maine woodchuck looked out of his hole and saw a huge eyeball looking back at him. Most likely the last thing he saw. --- SAWMAN

I see some people trying to sell 80’s and 90’s scopes on eBay. They are asking more for them than what they cost new. I wouldn’t touch them for those prices.

Unless it is a super duper collectable such as a unertl or a older redfield from the 60's I wouldnt pay those prices either. My dad bought a top of the line bushnell in the 90s and I have it now its still tracking good and on my 7mm mag. Some where my uncle has an old colt 4x for the m16 and and I keep asking him and he wont give it up. He had it when I was 7 back in the 90's so i know its not a cheap copy lol.
